A little bit of
BACKGROUND
STORY
It became biggest event for entrepreneurs in Quebec. Over 5000 attendees in the first edition. Over 20 million in reach on the campaign. But all of this started over coffee.
We met for coffee with Nima Jalalvandi, a friend we had shared an office with over a year ago, to reconnect and see what each of us was up to. He mentioned that he was looking to put on an event for entrepreneurship in Montreal. When he told us he was looking for branding for the event and a marketing team to come lead the campaign for the event, we were immediately interested.
This would turn into a long and incredibly exciting partnership between our two organizations.

The
BRANDING
The event’s branding revolves around a clever and elegant logo, featuring two intertwining “E”s, representing the collaborative nature of the entrepreneurial community. This symbol acts as a visual representation of the event’s core values: innovation, connection, and growth.
The branding palette embraces a playful and vibrant light colour scheme, drawing inspiration from primary colours. These hues not only evoke a sense of youthful energy but also symbolize the diverse range of ideas and ventures showcased at Expo Entrepreneurs.

We created a series of illustrations for the event to showcase some of the unique features and elements of the Expo.

The
CAMPAIGN
When we were approached to start off the marketing, we were starting from a baseline of a small mailing list as well as a couple hundred followers across all social media. Within only a few months, we brought that to a massive campaign that dominated conversation in the entrepreneurial sphere.
Our main axis for the campaign was to build buzz in the entrepreneurship communities online and get different ecosystems for entrepreneurs get invested in the event and promote it through their networks.
The Goal: Get 5000 entrepreneurs to attend the event within 3 months.
The
RESULTS
The campaign went even better than our goals. Through partnering with local media companies we managed to get over 50 million impressions for the event, and with only a few weeks left to the campaign, we finally stepped over the finish line with 5000 entrepreneurs locked in to attend.

We carefully crafted the website reflect the dynamic and innovative spirit of the local entrepreneurial community. The design combines modern elements with a touch of artistic creativity, aiming to capture the essence of the city’s cosmopolitan charm.
Upon arriving at the website, visitors will be greeted with a captivating slideshow featuring past Expo Entrepreneurs highlights, showcasing the inspiring individuals, speakers, and startups that have made the event so remarkable. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate through the site, providing information on the event’s schedule, featured speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendees can explore a comprehensive directory of exhibitors, offering a diverse range of innovative companies, and easily register for the event through a dedicated registration page.
